Product description

Cement mortar for grouting clinker and façade bricks in the form of a dry mix, ready to use after mixing with water, indoors and outdoors. The product complies with the requirements of PN-EN 998-2. Meets the requirements of Technical Approval: AT-15-3062 / 2009 "A set of products for insulating external walls of buildings in the SD010 system."

Application

Weber mortar ZK557 (Facade Fugue) is used for pointing:

  • Facade walls, fences, chimney made of clinker bricks, silicate bricks and block, concrete block, element in stone,
  • Clinker cladding tiles, stone and hand formed, 1.5-2.0 cm thick,
  • Internal walls, fireplace in, arch in, vaults made of clinker bricks, silicate bricks and block, concrete block, element in stone.

Before applying the mortar for pointing the element in absorbent material, it should be tested if the mortar causes discoloration.

Subsoil

Grouting can be carried out after setting the mortar, not earlier than 2 weeks after the completion of masonry. Joints should be cleaned of mortar residues to a depth of 12-15 mm, removed, dust and dust, then moistened with water. Bricks and joints must not be wet. Elements made of facing bricks should be protected against water absorption, e.g. flashings, and walls or fence posts with waterproof "caps".
